Not exactly a diary, but I found some pics of when I build my little studio a few years ago. Heres some of the materials, I bought some fluffy fiber for one of the floors and a lot of Rigid Roxul Mineral wool for another floor, walls, and around 20 bass traps.

Size of Live room is just enought for recording drums - I record very few drums since my studio is private and composer oriented.

I build a couple of doors using plywood and sticking fluffy fiber inside them. They were cheap to made, look decent and work great. |

Well, thats it, heres some pics of how my studio looks these days. For what I do its very comfotable and has a nice vibe, the studio its actually a little bigger than what it appears.

Thanks for the compliments!, it was a lot of work but a lot of fun. The most tedious part was building the 20+ bass traps. I had a small woodworking shop back then, so that help. |

Hi Toño, Thanks!, nice to see you here, in post 7 you can see the studio almost finished but it is always a work in progress. I do need to take more pics and I will post them here. When I built the studio and installed all the wood panels, doors, window frame, diffusors etc I liked a lot the way the vibe in the room felt with the wood without stain, so I decided to keep it that way, more rustic rather than very neat, in fact the walls are rugged, I just painted on top of the cement. The vibe in the room feels great and very warm, great for composing. Next time you visit Hermosillo, your more than welcome to visit my little studio |
