Thread Starter | Building New Voice Over studio
So I've rented out my home with my larger 800 sq foot studio and I'm focusing on Voice Over work and music production now and I'm cramming all of my gear into a smaller room. It's a newer home with good bones and a killer little office setup with it's own small hallway and bathroom setup. I had a crew build me a VO booth in the nook of the room 5 x 4 and the left a foot gap above for the AC duct work. We are putting in Sheetrock the Quietrock to the quietrock specs. The AC guy is splitting the 4 inch return from the adjoined bathroom and breaking that into 2 vents 6 inches each. That will create a "falling" effect on the air to avoid noise during my ISDN VO sessions. Thread Starter | ![]() Cable run out down the wall to the isobox rack ![]() ![]() 2 6 inch vents dropping air in the booth. We installed an electronic air regulator in the ceiling to stop the flow in the winter so my wife can't crank the heater and accidentally cook me during a VO session |
