Here are some new measurements. These were done at 3 distances, we named: Front Row, Middle row and Back row. Middle row is at the mixing desk position. At each of these distances, 3 measurements were made left, centre and right. The test signal was played through centre speaker.
FRONT ROW (NEARFIELD)

MID ROW (MIXING POSITION)

BACK ROW

The measurements show a very uniform behavior throughout the whole room.

RT plots. One is from MLS and the other from iPhone with StudioSix Audio Tools. Extremely similar results, though!
Both measurements taken at mixing position.

Here is one waterfall measured with REW, which seems to be a very popular tool on this section of GS. I'm not sure I'm using it properly, though...

And here's a SMAART 7 impulse response and spectrogram.

As you can see, the room is very, very tight. As a result, we get these nice readings:

CLARITY C80
New rooms in Portugal-clarity-c80.jpeg

Definition of C80:
C80 – The Clarity Factor (80ms), expressed in decibels, is the ratio of the early energy (0-80 ms) to the late reverberant energy (80-end of the decay of the IR). C80 is perceptually aligned with music perception.

More generally, clarity refers to the degree to which the separate strands in a musical performance perceptually stand apart from one another.

If the clarity is too low, the fast parts of the music are not readable.

If there is no reverberation in a room, the music will be very clear and C80 will have a large positive value.

All the measurements I published are with system aligned to x-Curve. The mic is maybe 45º angled towards speakers.
We're trying to measure noise floor, and we're having trouble with noisy mics. It seems we're getting NC15, but it's hard to tell this way. We'll try tomorrow with another mic brand, supposedly much quieter.
In the meantime, some nicer pics:

New rooms in Portugal-_mg_0227.jpg

to get the idea of the size, the picture is 2.90m high.

I found when trying to measure a very quiet studio (< 20dBA) I had to set the microphone correction to "frontal" rather than "random/diffuse". I was using a Bruel & Kjaer 2260. The non-frontal setting kicks up sound levels at high frequencies.

Hmmmm, I actually think you can read a lot more info from what I already posted than from a simple 1/3 octave RTA reading. RTA will never give you any time domain information, which is, in my opinion, way more important. But, if you insist, I'll get some screenshots of Dolby's AT5 software.

Sebq, we are using cheaper mikes, the best one being Earthworks, followed by Beyer, Behringer, Studio Six's mic and the iPhone's mic. All these suffer from noise in the upper frequency range (from 2-3 K up). If we exclude the readings above that range, NC figures are around NC=10.

In the meantime, as this is meant to be a PHOTO diary, here are some newer pictures:

That's a very nice facility! It must be great place to work.

BTW, I like the machine room - nice and tidy. What's that device under the CP650?
