More detailed screens...looks like 80Hz and 400Hz is problematic areas on my room. Any thoughts on that please?
Thanx

It doesn't look that bad. I wonder if playing with the height of the monitors would change things a bit?
For those 3D graphs they are most useful for the low end response over time, see what frequencies resonate and take longer to die down. So you want to change max. frequency to about 300 and put the duration up until you see the sound dying away.

the speakers seem to be very near to the ceiling...have you experimented with the hight....regarding SBIR, comps... etc.

It's a position of the camera giving this impression of high monitors. They actually at 122cm high by tweeter which is the best high for this room. I did lower and higher measurements and this was a sweet spot. Also moved left and right, back to the front wall and to the center ...where monitors are now it's gave me the best results.

Here is 300Hz Waterfall.

Thanx a lot for your input guys

So you see this waterfall graph is more meaningful, right.
I'm not expert enough to say if that big 30Hz thing is going to be a big problem, or what could be done about it..

yeah, I have a similar 30Hz thing in my studio, and I don't think my little monitors even produce much at 30Hz...

Congrats, it looks wicked! The wood floor looks rustic and fantastic.

Nice to see someone who posted with a "what should i do" thread and now has a finished build thread. I love it when I get to see everything from the design phase to the construction to the final product. Glad it sounds great in your room

Awesome build my friend!

Do you mind if I ask a few questions? If not here I go! lol

1) How did you build your walls on the cement, was it like so

Cement+Vapor barrier+Insulation+air gap+ 2 leaf wall?

I am starting a project in a basement and can't start untill I get the right info. You can check out my post here and maybe you can help me get started.

Any advice/help do's & don'ts would really help...

Thanks in advance

Ron

PS- Heres some pics of what I have now

another of how I think I should build on the exsisting cement walls on the North & West, and on the exsisting framed walls on the East & South
