More construction starting

Just finishing up with some Gobos and adding some Diffusers to the Live room ceiling

and patching up the office area , i need more time ........ I really wanted to do more during the holidays, but i got super busy so the major construction in the lounge,Kitchen, small Tech room/ storage will have to wait a couple months,

For now i will get the lounge comfy as i can and keep my soldering station where it is

here are some pics of the Gobos and an idea for the diffusers

EDIT: Darn.... i cant post pics .... it might be my internet connection....

Can we make this a "STICKEY"? Every once and a while, I need the inspiration Steve put into this so as not to lose sight of my little dream

Thanks for posting Steve!

It is great to see the Amek back in action. It is a great sounding console.
I am sure all your hard work will be worth it.

Peace, Todd

Hope 07 will be a great year for you

Thanks to ALL you guys for the good words, yes this room sounds great for drums or with the whole band playing, the bleed is good and easy to control

I am working on the lounge/office area now boring...... but necessary

Soon i will start building some diffusers for the live room ceiling , i am designing them myself and will post the progress as soon as i start,

Hey Steve!
Saw your post in the "Drums" thread. Its good to hear that you are working with Jason Harnell. I was blown away by his drumming at Kate's gigs. He is among the best I have ever heard. Can't wait to hear the final Creation Recording product. Let us know where we can get it!

It took me almost half an hour to only look at the pictures on all the pages, but it was worth every minute of it!!!!

What an amazing job you did Steve! It give me a lot of inspiration to build something myself, but then again, I have 2 left hands, so that wouldn't be a wise thing

Once again, lovely thread

Suppies

Steve, your studio looks great. I was wondering if you had any links to supply companies for wool batting and other construction needs. Insulation, dampener material and so on?

Thanks

...

hey, steve - i'm SO HAPPY FOR YOU that you're so busy...

i've been taking a bit of a long needed break, trying to wrap my head around life,

but i did just mix a song for a 7th Day Eventist Urban Contemporary Gospel Choir,
Victory Voices in Praise - a re-mix of stuff i did with them about 5 years ago..

the choir director, Loris LaBorde is a KICKASS musician, arranger and keyboard player -
i mean REALLY extraordinary, and someone i enjoy working with immensely.
we usually produce their recordings together. and i help him coach the choirs for the recordings,
and usually play guitars, and do some additional programming, bass and keyboard work.

also, i may be producing a 10 song CD for one of his solo artists - we'll see.

other than that - i'm also working on a real estate project that i'm psyched about.

i'm still hoping to meet you and work with you, too.

here's to the future.

again, congratulations on all your well-deserved success...

..

Steve,
Great looking rooms...excellent job! Quick prayer for you...I know how hard
it can be especially as a believer in this business. The theme I keep hearing this
year is "The year of the open door"....
God bless..
