Here we go with a little update. Control room window installed and painted. Airport grade window glass still to come (two different thinknesses). Tracking room B (also doubles as pre-production/rehearsal) gets and extra layer of Rockwool (100 Kg/cubic meter density) before the plasterboard/homaterm/platerboard structure is floated on the new floor. The only armed concrete pillar/column we couldn't avoid/get around gets layers of sheetblok. Wooden floor joists outside the room ready to go in. Floor joists get u-boated thanks to Keith @ KMR!

The smaller tracking/rehearsal room is almost done. Floating floor is finished. There is an inner aluminum frame up and plasterboard almost done (not in the pictures yet) The plasterboard framing/walls are on neoperene strips (on a floating floor. The 20cm concrete filled clay blocks of the outher shell are also neoprene floated on a concrete perimeter ring) We also just started building the floating floor for the main tracking room. Joists, joists. joists oh joy! |

Ahhhh it has been a while ... and we have been working like crazy in this summer heat Mixed update: Resident engineer and session drummer inspects the floating floor I am sure we can fit a fridge somewhere here, hidden in the control room front wall......... |

Tracking room B gets panels (corner traps sill to be covered with cloth) and initial testing begins with one of the drumkits from the studio collection.
