Thread Starter | HSG Home Studio Rebuild/Expansion
As we are remodeling the basement, I've been able to rebuild my homestudio space. ![]() ![]() If you go to my website, you will be able to see the progression of photos of my home studio reconstruction/rebuild where my room has grown from 11 X 11 to a much nicer 11 X 15. I've used a lot of info from multiple recording forums and websites in the build. *The interior walls are now 9 inches thick, double framed and double drywalled with lots of airspace and insullation. *The Ceiling is also double drywalled with R25 insullation and doors are solid wood. *The entire room is also wired to it's own 20 amp circuit (breaker) I have also gained a nice storage area under the stairwell for my mic stands, music stands, and other space hogging necessities.
