| Gear nut | A.i.r. Studio construction
Hi guys, This is my recent studio design in Indonesia. Client is happy with the result and sent several construction pictures. Too bad I only deal with the interior acoustics, did not have a chance to do the noise control/wall construction. Other design I did can be seen in: Super Cave @ South Philly - Construction & Final pictures Pictures below are taken before the renovations. |

By the way, the cloth pattern you see on the pictures is the famous Indonesian pattern called batik (you can google it). It is widely use for clothing and the final result does look very interesting! Enjoy! |

Hi guys, I just got an email from the owner. He made a quick recording 2 days before the renovation, and after it is finished. Drum is the same (same position, same head) recording with 2 Behringer ECM8000 mics (same position) with RME FF800 preamp .. It seems the bass traps work great!! Hadi |

Quality craftsmanship, looks like... There's something profoundly foreign in the styling / aesthetics of the design. Looks really exotic to me and I bet I'm not the only one. I think it has something to do with this thread not having any comments yet. Shame, since this is good work. thumbsup

this should go in the low end theory forum. i find people are always looking for that cheap gear that sounds expensive but it really shows you how taking the time you treat your rooms properly makes way more difference than the most expensive piece of gear. looks beautiful. also, good on you guys for thinking of recording and A/B for us. i wish you much happy recording in the future.
