Thread Starter | I have been a long time lurker of these studio building threads, and I have been using the valuable info from all of your posts to help me with my first build. Here are my first pics of the build, which has been going on for a few months already. The build is taking a while since its just me with my book: Home Recording Studios build it like the pros, and 3 of my friend's uncles who do construction work. We are building my place out of an existing warehouse, and believe it or not, they are doing all the labor for free, and charging me a flat rate of $13,000 start to finish including all materials. Let me know what you guys think....good and bad aloha, Chris sorry for the pic quality (camera phone),

Thread Starter | more pics here's more pics after we finished doubling up some of the the drywall and the last pic is a small portion of the raised flooring I got for free (4000 sq feet of it!) from a IT company down here that was going out of business. I hope I can use it, cause that was a lot of hauling on my part (i used my honda odyssey to transport )You can see the base platforms for the raised flooring cluttering up the pic of the live room |
