This is studio 2 which will curently be used as a rehearsal studio. Within the next year or so I plan on turning it into a mastering studio. This room is the same size as the live room in the main studio but the ceiling is lower. The carpet and diffusors for this room will be installed as soon as the painters leave.

Finally after much trouble and a company that sold me a service that they don´t do..... I got the A/C holes and cable holes drilled into the control room and Vocal booth floors. Cabling has started and the equipment should arrive soon.

Well not the most exciting picture but it is something else done. This is the fader pack that controls all of the lights in the studio rooms upstairs. The solo buttons were replaced with normall on/off switches, and hopefully the wooden and support for it will be finished next week.

Well, the security fences and spikes went in today along with the base coat for the graffiti . The put a layer of pink before the red... so the building looked a little funny for the last day or so.

This is what the red that will be the base. The graffiti starts on Monday. The graffiti will take two or three days to do. I hired a graffiti group here called 013. They are incredible well respected and even go on tour with one of Brasil´s biggest rock bands and do Graffiti on the stage during the show. Should end up looking really cool.

Well the graffiti started today but unfortunately I could only stay for the first 20 minutes. The city electrical company also finally showed up to give me a real connection, so now I will finally have regulated power.

Tommorow the graffiti is finished and the along with almost everything else. Electrical is done along with the painting. If I am lucky the acoustic panels will arrive this coming week and be installed and then I can bring in the equipment, which is currently livving in the game room at the in-laws place.

Great job man!

How many of you are involved with this?

Is it just yourself who has done all the planning?

Dude, all the artwork adds a really nice touch to the exterior of your
studio. Rock on! Keep it up!

P.S. Also if any flakey musician complains about not being able
to find it or they are lost, you have created quite a visual
landmark and they will have no excuse

Beyond my two partners, I hired a architect and an acoustic designer. The overall look of the building in and out was planned by me and my partners and the architect. The studios were all planned and designed by me and the acoustic designers. I have managed the building process, and my other two partners take care of the money end of things.
