OG7 Studios

Hello! Thought I would share this, enjoy!

This is the location before any construction.

Since this room had no ceiling and empty walls, I ripped the existing drywall out to add insulation and two layers of 5/8" sheetrock.

Started the ceiling.

The entrance needed a separate entrance to block the sound and view from outside.

Thanks guys! That is an amek tac scorpion. I mainly use it for monitoring during tracking and then mix ITB. But when I do rough mixes on it, they sound pretty good. I would say it's in the same league as a soundcraft ghost, buy I would take this one any day.

You used a single wall between the CR/live room, how's the isolation? Seems you didn't do alot of structural changes to the space besides the amp room. How is it all working for you?

Looking very nice!

It's working out great. Yeah, single wall with a total of 3 layers of 5/8" drywall high rated insulation. You'd be surprised, actually. Thanks!
