Wink My Portable Studio

I call it... "Studio C"

LOOK MOM, NO POWER OUTLET NEEDED!
All powered via FireWire and USB! (Surprisingly, the MacBook battery lasts between 2 - 3 hrs if I dim the LCD to the lowest setting.)

Perfect for doing some MIDI or guitar tracks on a park bench. (Though, I'll probably start carrying around an SM57 for sampling instead of C414)

That part about the battery is just what I wanted to hear..

And I'll see your Studio C and raise you a studio D

But pics will have to wait til midweek, the gear doesn't arrive until then..
Destined to be the sweetest (as in, cutest!) portable studio ever seen!

Watch this space..

Ok, now everything has finally arrived, here's studio 'M'

I'm still kind of amazed at how much functionality you can pack into such a small space, but then again, it is 2010..
I'm still shocked at how small the UGM96 is, even having known the dimensions before-hand.
Extremely quiet too, everything installed and functioning flawlessly on a 64bit system running Reaper.
