here are some pics for the rubber magnetic sealing and the aluminum door frame and how they contact each other and seal... I hope this works for you...

same system for both doors

it works ok, I mean, I'm sure there are many more efficient ways to seal rooms and doors. but I liked this one and does a nice job

I write, produce and arrange on Digital Performer, right now DP7.02 is very stable, I was really mad with MOTU a few versions ago (on DP6), but now they are improving everything. With DP, I use Apogee AD16x and DA16x.

Then, when the song is ready for mix, I bounce everything to wavs and mix on a PT8 HD5 with 4 Auroras Lynx through my SSL Duality using all my hardware.
I really prefer PT for mixing, but my creativity when producing, flows better on DP, mostly because I've been using it since 1992 (Performer then!).

A ver que día puedes venir Toño, te vas a divertir!

Felices fiestas.

the pro photo shoot for the studio has been done, Lovely pics by the way, it's for my studio website TR Mix Room I don't know if I should put some of those nice pics in here, now that I've been putting all of those terrible pics I've taken.. I mean, it's all the same but with a much nicer quality to it, the photos I mean... well if you want it let me know

In the mean time, here are some more of my terrible pics from the current session which is for my own band, we are re-cutting guitars for our latest CD, which was finished quite a few months ago, before my new studio, and I just couldn't help to record guitars again now that everything sounds so neat in here... it totally worths it, it's sounding huge... I love it

I don't recall telling you this but (not that is relevant to this forum I know but...) I play guitar and sing in a rock band called QBO, based in my country, Mexico... we rock pretty good!!!

this amps kick a$$

Man, don't go asking if you should post the beauty pictures! Of course you should!

Isn't that what you took them for? And who more appreciative of all the work you went through to be able to have them taken than people who have followed through all the hard work by reading this thread.

I bet they are super awesome. Your "ugly" pictures are awesome already.

Hi ya'll

this weekend I'll be recording the first drumkit in the studio, so far I've cut bass, guitars both electric and acoustics, and vocals and it all came out awesome, even though the room is rather small for drums, I'm positive it will sound great, it is prepared for

I'll keep you posted, and put some pics up from the session

godspeed!! thumbsup

hello ya'll

here are some low quality pics (movil pic, sorry!!) from the session I'm doing now, the drums sounded really cool, I'm surprised in how the kit behaved within the small live room, a tight bottom end, depth, and a specially clear upper end, so well defined and detailed...

what I didn't like at all is that, the SPL from the drums were to much to handle for the isolation I could afford in the studio, due not only to budget issues but to space and in house restrictionsdfegad thank god the area is almost dead quiet, I mean good for me, not to the neighbors

so, the drums sounded kinda loud outside the room, I hope I won't get my little a$$ kicked out of the neighborhood

what I used for mics is:

kick in e602
kick out GT55
snare top sm57
snare butt sm57
hats sony ecm 33f
rack tom md421
floor tom md421
o. heads AT4041
mono room u87
