Thread Starter | drew, Thanks for checking out the thread. I will let Frank know you said hi. I won't go into details about the financing, but I will say that Airshow has successfully been in business for 26 years. There is always some apprehension when entering into such a large endeavor, but we feel very confident about our Maryland facility, and our ability to serve the local music community in new and better ways. We worked very hard to build a facility that filled a void in the mid atlantic region while still maintaining comfort, convenience, and affordability. I think our clients will appreciate what we have to offer, and the engineers will appreciate working in a top flight, professional environment. This sounds to me like a good combination for business sustainability. Please come by and see us. We would love to show you around. And that goes for any fellow gearslutz in the D.C. area. Thanks again for checking out the thread and for your kind words. Best regards, -Mike |

| I was serious about the training BTW, not just saying hi, although please do!!! Consulting and training is a small part of what I do. Gotcha on the biz stuff. No one likes to put that stuff out there but it's usually the first thing that pops into my head when I see these build outs. You got to live and save for retirement etc and all that debt and overhead has got to be tough. The place looks awesome!! Is it ready for visitors yet? Where is it? There's no info on the site yet. Curious about trying to get to and from there during DC hell traffic. |

Thread Starter | drew, The studio is ready for visitors if you can handle seeing some construction going on in Charlie's room, and understand that we are still moving equipment and getting settled. You will certainly be able to understand what the finished product will look like in a few weeks. The new web site will probably go up in a few days, and will have the info about the new facility. We are in downtown Takoma Park Maryland, next to the House of Musical Traditions, a fabulous music store and Takoma Park institution. You can email me directly: mike at airshowmastering dot com or for general inquires, write to: studio at airshowmastering dot com As far as traffic, it depends on where you are coming from. It is walking distance from the Metro if that is more convenient for you. Regards, -Mike |

| Thanks Mike. Beautiful area!! Nice choice!! But sadly, it's in what I would consider the "belly of the beast" for traffic. I'd have to be careful about when to come and go. I will email you and set something up soon. |

Thread Starter | Hi everyone, We have been busy getting settled in the new studio. We are running cables and working out all the little kinks. Charlie's room is almost complete. The soffit fabric is about to go in, and then the finished floors will be installed in the next day or two. We were happy have some visitors to the new facility. Our long time client and friend Pete Princiotto came by to do some editing with charlie, and our friends from Ms. Sarah and the Help stopped in to do some tracking with Frank. They sounded great as usual. Frank's new K&H 0410 speakers were installed, and Charlie's Duntech Sovereign speakers were delivered. Things are still rolling along well, and the last bits of construction will be finished soon. -Mike |
