The lead sound, bit like a sort of sax? http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF1688545-02-01-09.mp3 what is it, or how could I make a similar sound? Someone suggested it was African. Not even sure if it is a wind instrument. Any help most appreciated! |

main riff repeated throughout, sounds kinda like a low short sax sample, but someone said its an African instrument, not sure what type

Sounds like tubes slapped with a paddle. Or something like boo-bams. The only wind instrument that would come close to that sound is a digeridoo. Might be that, but more likely tubes. (see blue man group)

cool, just watched a video of the blue man group playing pipes and it did sound very similar, so maybe it is a sample of that, interesting.
