I am lucky enough to have been passed a Macbook Pro with these programs but I have no clue how to set them up. I don't even know what FL does anyways >_>

It'd be cool to learn how to use all 3 to my advantage but it's so confusing and I'm new to this recording stuff.

What do you want to do?

Fruity loops is a program for making music, mostly based around loop creation. You can run this software, and run Amplitube as a plugin with in it. You use the UX1 as an interface.

If you just want to play your guitar through some amp simulators then you don't need fruity loops, and just use the stand alone version of amplitube.

Didn't the person who gave it to you explain what it all is, and how to use it?

You can use AmpliTube as an FX on any track you choose.
