Kick drum

I'm wanting to get my kick drum sounding similar to one in the song below. It sounds really punchy and distinct is this somthing that be done with processing or is it how the kit has been set up give that sound

Also am i right in thinking there is some big boosts in the low to give it that really woofy kinda sound which is kind of opposite to the clicky sound of the kick that you get in many other songs of this kind of genre

I'm on the laptop so I don't hear much of the lows unfortunately!
I'd try cutting in the mids/highs first to see if you can get a similar tone and then boosting the remaining freqs to taste. Compression also plays a role in the kick's tone, squashing the transient could tame the click as well.

EQ sounds like it's boosted around 80-100Hz, but the kick drum was probably tuned around this pitch which would explain the 'boominess'

There's a 'woofy' sound going on in the midrange, it sounds like there could be a boost around 1-2kHz although most modern kicks have this range cut, so maybe the mixer just didn't cut anything here.

Finally it sounds like a little boost at 6-10khz for a tiny bit off attack.
