Phase issues with VST instruments

What do you mean by "out of phase"? Explain what's the problem in bit more detail. Two instruments are out of phase with each other? Or only one?

Sounds like a huge side boost or inversal of one of the stereo tracks. Do you have some stereowidening action going on?

The analyzer is showing huge spikes in the anti-phase region. I'm assuming this is telling me that the instrument is out of phase. I get this reading even when the offending track is in solo.

I'm not using any stereo widening either.

That phase issue you are looking at your analyser, is caused by the fx used by your VSTi, many presets I use in almost all VSTi have things like stereo delays and verbs, phasers, chorus, etc.

If those issues are bothering you, then turn off the internal fx of the preset of your VSTi, later you can work on fx with your mix well balanced.

How about stereo delay? That can get things out of phase as well.

Listen to mono, does it sound radically different?
