New tube mic... Is it broken??

I just got a new tube mic. If it shakes during recording, the sound cuts out. Even if shaken a little.

I assume this is NOT normal, but I wanted to see if anyone has any guidance before I bring it back to Guitar Center. It's a Mojave ma-200. $1,000. Sounds amazing when it doesn't cut out.

Yes, I check all my connections.

Thanks for your help!!

Hi
Take it back now!
Use a different cable just to double check you don't have an intermittent in your cable, then take it back.

Thanks. That's what I figured. I'm bummed out... Was planning on recording this weekend.
