Identify the bassline? (The Man with the Red Face)

My first post on gearslutz! WOII. Biggest noob here.

Just moving on to trying to create and mix my first bassline into a drum pattern ive been working on. I want it to resemble the bassline in the legendary track that is, the man with the red face by Laurent Garnier. Link below. Would know how he's achieved this sound?

Most likely a synth patch to begin with, then layering, and likely re-amping or some processing to make it more analog sounding.
