I'd play around a bit with light compression on the vox if you haven't already. Sounds like maybe you have, but IMO it could be cleaned up a bit.

I actually really like the guitar track. To me it sounds good, and for your first mix attempt I'd say nice job.

Sounds pretty good, good vocal performance.

Guitar could stand just a little bit smoothing on the high end (like a shelf), or very small wide dip around 2-4kHz, and a bit of bass boost between 125-150Hz, since the acoustic guitar is carrying the vocal by itself. Warmth on mix bus around 200-300Hz a very small amount with wide Q, or maybe just on vocal.

If I had a voice like that and really wanted to know what kind of setting really fits that kind of song, I would try bits of chorus, etc. for filler. Less number of instruments, the more need for filling.

My other mixes for this album are all really instrument dense, so a song with only guitar and vocals was a bit of a curve ball.

Sounds very good actually. I was impressed that it was done on an Art Studio MP. I have one here and maybe I should pull it out again and turn off the more expensive stuff for a while. Again, very well done.

Also, one of the better SM7Bs I've heard. It matches your voice well.

Way too much hi freq on the guitar and the sliding is much too noticeable. Makes it sound terribly cheap.

Perhaps would have been better to record with the mics further from the guitar. A perfect example of how sometimes you can't fix things in the mix and that proper mic placement and setup can save a load of headaches latter on.

Excellent voice though.
