Logic EQ vs Waves Q

I have both. I haven't noticed any major difference. Especially for cutting. However, if I am making big eq changes, I pull up the softube trident eq....
I think logics eq will treat you well for the time being.

I use both, but the logic (channel)EQ cuts freqs very nice! And also you can make very narrow and deep cuts.
For pimping i would use a different eq. Same with the waves.

Have you considered getting a Waves modeled EQ? The API ones are quite nice.

I used Logic EQ almost every time for lo or hi cutting. Until I got Fabfilter Pro bundle with the Q. Now I only use Q for that. The GUI is better and it can operate L or R or M or S
