EQing Samples in Reason

Hey guys,

just wanted to see what your advice was on mixing and EQing samples to make them sound good and shine in an instrumental.

(Not just drum samples, but chops from old classic soul, funk, jazz, rnb, etc.)

there are definitly no rules expept for one:

EQ as less as possible but as much as needed!

it always depends on the sample and the rest of the song how a sample should be eq'ed!

just try to avoid that(many) samples have a big frequnzy band in common!

cheers
