First Audio Interface

I've been looking into getting an audio interface and so far I've been attracted to the Apogee audio interfaces and the Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6. The Apogee Duet 2 is a little pricy for me right now so I was wondering what I can get away with if I get the Apogee ONE. I like that the Apogee ONE is portable and has a built in mic but I'm not sure on the quality. The Apogee ONE and the Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 are roughly around the same price last I checked. I play guitar, some bass and do vocals so I don't need much at this moment. If anyone has any advice on these two audio interfaces that would be a lot of help. I'm also open to any other suggestions. Thanks for taking the time to help!

I love all apogee products and would highly encourage saving up for it if you ca (especially for your limited simultaneous I/O needs). Super pristine pre's and converters.

That being said, if you dint feel like dropping $600, I might like into some interfaces made by focusrite. They have a similar interface to the duet, which is the scarlett 2i2. It has award winning pres and the sound quality is still superb. In addition, It may come with a plug-in bundle from focusrite and will end up costing you less than half of the duet. (I believe it goes for $259 at guitar center or sweetwater.

Actually, it's going for about $150 at GC or $135 here Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 - Portable USB Audio SCARLETT 2I2 USB B&H

I've seen the Focusrite Scarlett compared to the Komplete Audio 6 as well. There's not much on the Komplete Audio 6, I wonder why? Is it unknown or something. I need something reliable, I'll take a look at the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.
