Using tremolo in 6/4 timing

hey good peeps,
Im in need of a production tip for tremolo keys or git. Im producing a track in 6/4 time signature its a cross between a Portishead and Dark side of the moon thing.

I been fiddling with the Logic trem and soundtoys, but cant seem to get a nice slow swing /110 bpm tremolo effect on a wurly keys in 6/4 waltzy/gospel feel.
I need the space between repeats to be shorter and in time.

Any suggestions on how I can get a closer to this idea insyce with a chord progression. Possible outboard or pedal or plug ins that wotk in 3/4- 6/4/ time?
thanks

I have a feeling you mean 6/8 (or 12/8).

If that's the case, you might want to look into dotted quarter notes. But it's really hard to tell what's up without more information.

I mean 6/4 i'm sure, but anything thats work in 3/4 also might work,.Its not that heavy of a swing as 6/8. its more trip hop. Im working with a west african drummers so the count needs to be on.I was working on a dotted triplet, but like I said I need more control of the feedback or rate, Im using a a wurly plug in logic.

I would have to hear the track with a click track to give you a useful answer.

Thanks for reaching out. I think I got it . I used an expression pedal to tap it out and a 1/4t tremolo, but would be interested in effects in 3/4 timing, esp delays,
peace and respects

If you have a swung 8th note thing on the ride or hi-hat you can always gate your organ and use the ride/hi hat as the sidechain!

Once again, I'm confused how 1/4t (quarter-note triplets) would figure into 6/4, where quarter-notes wouldn't.

I have a feeling the song isn't actually 6/4...

I understand your confusing, but it is 6/4, Because I argue the same thing with 3 drummers..and we counted it out together..lol The downbeat is doing 4 beats.
I should explain more I guess . Im using a modulation technique on the Keys with tremolo. Im holding the bass note at 1/4 notes and the chord Im using the triplet (2xtrips) That I cut on/off with a xpression pedal. So Im not really using the full triplet feel, just the swing of it, if that makes sense. As soon as I get the Ok , I will post it.

I really appreciate your interest. I was just wondering if there were any delays that swing in 3/4 .
peace and respects
Joseph
