Mbox Mini Problems

Hi guys, im borrowing a friends mbox mini for a few weeks and am using it to power my monitors. Now.. Originally i plugged it in and my PC recognized it no problems and i selected it in prefferences in Reason 5 no problems also. And yes i installed the drivers for it from this page:

Third Generation Mbox Mini Drivers

At this time whilst it is working all the lights are coming up on the Mbox mini. Now out of no where and having done nothing to cause this i plug the mbox in via USB and ONLY the blue power light comes on and not the others. My computer does not regocognize it all of a sudden. Even if i open up the Mbox Mini Control Panel it says down the bottom 'Hardware not connected'. I am finding this exrtremly odd as ive made no changes since it was working fine and am only just having this problem over night as it was working fine yesterday. Have looked around plenty on here and in googled the problem only to find no one with the same issue, anyone that can help would be a life saver! Thanks in advance!

Nope, tried a few others. Plus it is lighting up the blue light on the Mbox. Cheers for the response.
