Updating Equipment - Advice/Opinions Needed

So i'm considering spending about $3000 on new equipment and I needed some advice/opinions before I go about doing so.

Currently my setup consists of:
Rode NT1A
M-Audio Fast Track Pro
FL Studio 8
HP Pavilion dv9500

For hiphop vocals, which is what I mainly use this for, this setup has been pretty good.

Examples: Seany Richfield's SoundCloud All recorded with this equipment.

But I want to get a cleaner, fuller sound. After some research, i've been considering buying a Neumann TLM 49 and a MSS-10 Preamp.

My concern is, for one, is it worth the 3000 or are there other alternatives that are considerably better for the price? And two, will continuing to use my Fast Track Pro affect the potential of these devices?
