Use Korg D3200 as interface for Garageband?

Happy New Year Everyone!

I just bought a Macbook Pro and have started recording with Garageband using a Presonus Audiobox interface. Before this I was using a Korg D3200. I'm wondering if there is a way to use the Korg as the interface to Garageband. I'd like to record drums and utilize the 8 inputs on the Korg compared to the 2 with the Presonus. Is this possible or should I just suck it up and by a new interface with more inputs?

pretty sure no hard disk recorders have the ability to be used as an interface,
other than exporting tracks via USB or CD and importing them to a DAW.

From what I understand, you can use the left and right digital output to connect to your Mac's digital input, thus making your D2100 a 2-channel interface. I just ordered the cable to make this connection, so I'll test this theory out soon.

There's no way to use individual outputs for all eight channels at once, however. You're better off buying something like the Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 if you're interested in that.

(I know this is an old post. Oh well!)
