The board looks nice.

No offense intended (as I really like and/or have owned) a lot of Tascam products, but it will be a cold day in hell before I could recommend purchasing a console from them.

They have a LONG history of releasing consoles half-baked with a lot of promises for future revisions that never happen, before the unit is abruptly discontinued and dumped with no further support...

I generally agree, though Tascam deserves credit for developing the DM-24 software over several years after the board was released. DAW support is still rudimentary (though never promised as a long-term feature), but they delivered on pretty much everything else.
