FREE: FXpansion 'Orca' synth now available

As a website launch present, FXpansion would like to present a small preview of some analogue synth circuit modelling tech we've been quietly beavering away on: Orca is a mono unison synth that excels at ye olde "phat" bassness and squeltchy filters.

Orca is available only as a VST plugin, on WinXP and MacOSX Tiger (Unibin) - other platforms have the option of VST-AU or VST-RTAS adapterizing Orca of course (subtle cross-marketting, innocently whistles)

Visit the all new www.fxpansion.com and check it out.

Skot,
Am I right in thinking the new Vst to RTAS is out and Unibin? (2.1?)
If yes, you could post the news here.

Cheers,

Can we finally register our VST-RTAS wrappers on the website? I think I've lost track of how many months/years this is overdue...

lozion - yes, it's out -- free update for all v2 owners, will send everyone a newsletter tomorrow (just sorting out some formalities regarding VST-*AU* v2.0, which is also done).

kmshroom - you've been able to register VST-RTAS v2 serials on the Web site since it shipped in March or so. VST-RTAS v1.0 serials will not be registerable, as they were issued before our registration system existed. If you have v1 and want to upgrade to v2, contact our support guys (you're supposed to be able to do it automatically with a form on the web, but it seems to have gone AWOL on the new site -- checking in to it now)

Hey, Angus, any chance this thing will run as a standalone at some point?

Of Orca, I don't believe so . This is just a technology preview of what's to come . And this is just a small peak . As for future products based on this technology , that's to be seen as they come to pass .

Gosh thats vague
