Yoki Drum Pads???

Don't know if this is the correect forum for this question.

Has anyone heard of Yoki Drum Pads? I was looking for an inexpensive way to trigger drums and came accross this on ebay.

Couldn't find anything on Google.
Thanks.

I emailed someone that was selling that set on ebay maybe 4 or 5 months ago. They never replied to me.

Parts of it are a dead ringer for the Pintech e-gig kit. Given that, I'd trash the module for something better.

The Pintech kits mentioned above actually looks pretty sweet on their website

The modules can be bought seperate at pretty great prices (compared to the roland gear). Could you just use these with a hardware sampler and midi converter - rather than the crappy pre-set module???

Does anyone have experience with these Pintechs???

Yes, but you need a trigger to midi converter of some sort, although it doesn't need to have sounds. Roland is making the TMC-6 that has 6 trigger inputs.

I have the pintech kit and like I said eariler, you'll outgrow the module almost immediately. I bought my entire kit [new] for not much more than the concertcast heads alone, so in that regard, I'm pleased. The kick trigger and HH pedal don't feel as high quality as the other triggers but they do work ok. I think if you're looking at it as an entire system, the Hart Prodigy w/ Alesis D5 might be better. The Hart may even be a bit cheaper.
