otiumFX Sonitex STX-1260 Released!

OtiumFX is happy to announce that Sonitex STX-1260 is now available for purchase.

SONITEX offers a complete suite of processing dedicated to adding texture to digital audio. This allows you to bring the "gritty vibe" from vinyl records and vintage hardware samplers into your modern DAW environment.

Sonitex will include stages to mimic the mixing stage, overall distortion, vinyl pressing & playback, vinyl noise, frequency fidelity and finally the resolution & characteristics in the digital sampling.

More info here: http://www.otiumfx.com/sonitex.php
It is available for VST PC, and costs $49.

A trial version will be made available soon.

Best regards,
Rune

I have been interested in someone modelling the sound of classic samplers for a while and thought how cool to have a Battery type sampler with the option to colour the sound in that way. But hey if this works it could be cool.
Can you explain the process of how you achieved this? is it an analog modell of the circuitry or another technique?

(Edit). I'm sorry i know this is "only" $49 but do you really expect people to buy your product without hearing it first? There is so much crap out there I wonder who will nowadays. Please make a demo so we can trial it first.

Interesting piece of work. I kinda like it. I can't see needing to create the record surface noises, but that's just one page of five (six?) pages of parameters, at least a couple of which I can see using regularly. The mid-side controls on the mix page, for instance. Interesting. The hi and lo shelf filters on the tone page are kinda great as well.

Me likey.

I think this is a developer to watch. His plugin work has an interesting, very subtle signature to it, an attractive kind of slight "softness" that I find pretty refreshing in digital gear. His design choices are thoughtful. His work isn't always down my alley, but interesting nonetheless.

Cheers.

Looks very interesting. What a pitty I can't use it on my Mac with Logic.

Is there a similar thing for Mac and Logic?
