| Gear addict | Golden Age Project mics Well, it looks as if another company is selling those Chinese ribbon mics like Nady, Shiny Box, Apex etc... But this time with a twist. Solid state FET output (like a poormans Royer 122) and one with a tube output. They seem to have a budget small diaphagm TUBE condenser with 2 heads (omni & cardioid) included. No one else makes a small tube condesner today except Shoeps, and that thing is about $2K US. Groove Tubes GT40 or GT44 might be similar. Has anyone had experiences with the GT40? |

| Golden Age Audio is a well known importer of highend audio in Sweden, but they offer this project series of microphones for less wealthy customers. I guess most of them are from this OEM manufacturer and in some cases modified to their specs. Shanghai ShuaiYin Electronics Co., Ltd. Matti |
