Reason 3.0.5

well, apparently it came out last week..

but it's news to me tho, dammit!

http://www.propellerheads.se/support...e=rsn3_fixlist

for someone like me who rewires Logic and Reason for a livelyhood, this should be a godsend. i'm D/L the new version right now, in hope that it'll help load the samples faster... prayers answered? i'm crossing my fingers.

anybody mess 'round with this already?

(also, i was having some rewire prob's lately.. getting some weird zipping noises when rewired Logic/Reason... someone ever run into this?)

Dayum.

loading time is.... insane. insanely fast.

anybody who ever bitched about Rewire being slow; well, you owe it to yourself not getting this update. life is good

not sure about stream from disk... but i never had a problem with samples loading into RAM tho.. Reason itself is rather CPU and RAM friendly, Rewired may be a bit tricky.

reason 3.05 still loopproblems with logic

Hi
I tried to get this experience into another thread, but noone commended on this.
I´m using reason 3.05 (the non intel version) with logic (latest version, just upgraded it)

rewire_reason and logic
Read that you use reason_rewire with logic. I´m a newbee in logic and cant´t get a decend loop running reason/rewire. It´s all the latest software.. It "hops" when it starts over again - so logic should fix that before adding more colours...

Any exp + solution?

not sure what you mean by "decend loop"..

here's the link for Rewiring Logic & Reason, just in case:

http://www.propellerheads.se/support...ogic_audio_pl6

i know it's for Logic 6, but the same steps apply for L7 too.

about the "hop", do you mean you get a blank audio or a skip during the looped section? this'll depending on your song and loop points.

if you do a loop with mostly sampled sounds (as opposed to recorded audio), and make sure your loop points are not in between beats or measures, then you shouldn't be getting the skip.

you can also trying looking at Logic's preference --> audio --> cycle, and play around with settings there.

also make sure to optimize your mac..
