Exclamation New URS Compressor Plugin!?

Anyone have any details? There's a teaser for it at the end of the flash sequence on the main page of the URS plugins website (watch it through to the end...).

wow - that was a long flash sequence =)

But yeah - looks like there is a compressor of some sort on the horizon!

I really like URS's stuff... A nice general purpose compressor would be a nice addition to their suite

Are you guys still feeling the current urs comps? For some reason I couldn't find a RTAS PC demo on the site for them. This future plug sure looks sexy for what little they're willing to show us

I know it looks like a compressor ( given what look like to be GR meter), but....could it be a Tape emulation plugin.
A tape sim plug has been on the wish list of alot of native users.

any opinions

Oh by the way: It couls be a valve driven reverbemulation that changes it's basic soundappearance each time you restart it!

IT'S MAGIC

But I am sure Ghost Logic then it will be the emulation of a vintage coffeemachine with the real smell of fresh coffee coming thru your DVD-writer!

Not really. Especially really good ones that are non ProTools/non TDM.

Well most of those seem to be for Windows which may be good for you ....... but not for me. I have tried Magneto, don't like it at all. I have tried Vintage Warmer it's ok, useful, but doesn't sound like tape to me, sometimes it's too crunchy and not smooth enough if you know what I mean. I really do like ColorTone and use it quite a bit, but would welcome another option / color to add to the palette. Whatever the new URS plugin turns out to be I bet it'll be something we will want.........
