| Energy XT2
Energy XT will be releasing version 2.0 soon! For those of you not familiar with XT, this thing is both a VST host and a plugin (windoze). It's like a bare bones version of logic's environment. You can essentially make it do anything you want. I've been using it as a VST host to run things that I don't have on my Mac. It's pretty handy. Version 1 has been working great for me. Version two will feature linux support which should be interesting. According to the developer (one man act) there will be a way to run it in linux so that it will be the os UI. It will boot up and all you'll see is XT and your computer will run like a dedicated workstation (like ableton live's full screen mode).
If you haven't tried XT yet it would probably worth checking out. It's a handy little app to have and it's cheap ($75 with free lifetime upgrades) |
