That appears to be 'Longhorn' which is actually Vista Nuk. maybe I'm wrong. Do you have any other info?

waste

yes......... certainly an update my studio comp won't be seeign the light of day of!! I mean, visual niceties are all well ansd good on a personal system, but jsut take up valuable system resources on a studio system. Hell, I run XP on my system in classic appearance.

its not hard to set different themes and apperences in XP
although the line 'Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Codename Longhorn' does kind of tell you where its from
no doubt some aspcts of longhorn/vista will come into future xp service packs, just as xp code came into 2k sp3 and screwed up many things. when it comes prepare for alot of headaches
SP3 is a long way off anyway, i only moved to SP2 a few months ago and that was bad enough.

im with you man! much rather have performance then a pretty little folder taking up my power! maybe my laptop would see an upgrade....hmmm but im also wondering how MS is going to be with all the security add-ons, they are notorious for making there customers jump thru loops! i hate that stuff.
