Where are the Sony AU Plug-Ins????

This is 2006. Itīs NAMM. Itīs the perfect time to announce AU versions of the entire Sony Oxford plug-in bundle. I want it. I need it (work in Logic). I want the Rev and the Limiter as well.

Come on, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeazzzzzzeeeeee...

Those will probably never come.

You can already use them as Audio Units, purchase a Powercore.

Hmmmm, Powercore, Iīve heard that word before. Wasnīt that this EUR 1000,- dongle that winds down your CPU power?
No thanks, that would cost another 800,- for plug-ins I already own. And neither the Oxford Limiter, nor the Oxford Reverb are available for PoCo.

I wait for true native AU.

I heard a rumor they were working on non-Powercore native plug-ins for Q2 2006... Who knows, though...

How are they dealing with the copy protection issue? iLok? Seems a shame since the iLok copy protection has already been broken.

GML wonīt happen. George Massenburg said it himself, they stay away from native stuff, heīs afraid his plugs will get hijacked.
He said they were working on a PoCo version of the MDW EQ. Not for me.

Well, Sony already has their plugins as RTAS, with iLok. There's no reason not to release the plugins as native AU then.

Glad I have a couple of Poco's--any idea when the MDW EQ for Poco will be released?

AU might make sense, but the Poco works relatively flawlessly as AU on mac and they've fixed the CPU drain problem...

I hope Sony Oxford find the resources to port the rest of their line to Powercore.

That means both AU and VST
