| i love my RNLA. i prefer it over my Focusrite Platinum Compounder and Drawmer DL241. it can be polite when you want it to, our rather rude at higher GR levels. its no Distressor, but i find it to be ideal for an all-around compressor. once i finish building the new facility, i'll probably buy 2 or 3 more and use the Funk Logic VRT format. |

| Gear addict | I have both RNC's and RNLA's... both are great compressors and sound VERY DIFERENTLY... both are very usable in many applications. |

| Does the funk logic setup have a power supply or do you have to use double warts? |

yea, bummer. ah well the little bastards are $225 a pop ![]() also, i'll add that its the best damn Comp south of $500. if you want to compare it to a plug-in compressor, i'd say it reminds me alot of the Sonalksis SV-315, which ironically sells for the same price. Both are agressive, but not like Distressor aggressive. and both have flavor, but not Drawmer flavor. and fwiw, the other 2 hardware comps i own are the Focusrite Platinum Compounder, and the Drawmer DL241 XLR. (soft comps i haveare SV-315, Vintage Warmer, MixPack, Neodynium) i prefer the RNLA to all of them. its got just barely enough balls that i'll use it on the drum bus, but enough grace that i've used it on ac. guitar as well. | |

| I really liked it. I'll be picking up 2 of them in the new year. After you start using it for awhile I'm sure you'll find it's the swiss army knife of compressors in the under $2000 category. |
