Mytek StudioClock 192 1/2 price December Promo

We hope to make you guys aware that we have an excellent Clock/Distributor box for clocking your digital studio, it's called <b> StudioClock 192-CX</b>

It's:

- Ultra low jitter clock generator
- Generates all audio sample rates up to 192k
- Has multiple wordclock outputs, addtnl wck outputs and divided frequencies (great for external loops at upsampled rate for mastering) , superclock for Protools Mix
- The outputs are true 5 V very high current (unlike other "Big" generators which lack drive current and are 3.3 V only)
- It's 1/3 rack , easy to carry around

- and through December it can be had for 1/2 price ($492.50) (some strings attached)

see: http://www.mytekdigital.com/us/store/

The same offer is available at the same cost in Europe, see:

http://www.mytekdigital.com/europe/store/

Smile Mytek Clock

I think you may have forgotten a thousand dollars somewhere in there. Although, at $495, it would be quite a steal.....
Special price for typo police?

The list price is $995. No typo. I'm more interested in the SRC right now though myself.

This is a great deal!

The exact offer is:

"StudioClock at 1/2 PRICE with the purchase of any Mytek digital unit (excluding separate purchases of DIO cards). Offer valid for orders placed by December 31st, 2005."

So yes, you have to buy something else like the Stereo96ADC for $995, but don't forget the Stereo96ADC is the ONLY high end ADC on the market below $1k. Mytek is the best bang for the buck as far as sound quality is concerned and now we are offering you even bigger bang.

Thanks M

Just an FYI but we are going to have a couple StudioClock 192's in Nashville and New York that will be available for evaluation if anyone would like to try them out. If you are interested please let me know and I'll arrange it for you. Thanks.

About the 8x192 + Studio Clock 192 bundle in your website
Doesn't the 8x192 already distribute wordclock (6 wc outs) itself?
Thanks
best regards
Massimo

Yes the 8x192 does function as a master clock as well. The StudioClock 192 is included in the promotion with the 8x192 simply because someone might have a need for two clock distributors. Thanks.

As David said , the offer is about StudioClock promotion, we are offering it at 1/2 price additional to ANY piece of digital equipment we have (except separate DIO cards). The 8X192 has the same clock generator inside, but StudioClock has more features and it's small and handy to bring around etc. I can imagine you could use both in a larger setup requiring more than 6 wck outs- the StudioClock also functions as clock distribution amplifier and can provide more outputs.

Hi Mytek folks,
thank you very much for replying.
Your December specials are interesting, so I have another question: Besides ancillary functions, are the A/D and D/A conversion chips and analog circuitry around them the same on your stereo 192kHz units with respect to the 8x192? In other words, same sound and quality?
Thank you
best regards
Massimo

Stereo192 ADC uses AKM chip while 8X192 uses TI/BurrBrown. Although chipsets are slightly different in their internal structure, their performance is similar and they sound very close to each other as the "sound" of converter is defined not only by chip but by surrounding circuitry whioch in all our converters is similar- few very high quality parts.
