Differerent purposes, different marketing. And they need to make money out of it to continue bringing top-class plugins. To me it makes perfect sense to make them separate plugins and not update to Decapitator.

| Quote: cleansweep is your standard hi lo pass, Tilt is imo sounding more interesting, because of the built in transformer "subtle distortion", which makes me think: "I want a bit more of subtle dist", where now Juice comes hopefully into play. But why use a second plugin, when you can have it all in one ? I will never understand btw, why Dave Hill never ported the Phoenix to AU or VST, this plugin is so nice and so long on the market, whew

| To be on topic for a moment--I'm sure I'll buy this the second it comes out, like everyone else, because it will be amazing...now back to off-topic programming for a moment: I checked this page (112 db) out when the new blue limiter came out. I just went back from the above recommendations. Thought it looked cool, then clicked on the demo to find out the duration--60 DAYS at full functionality? Many companies (ahem one starts with an "S" and rhymes with hate lol) don't understand this concept--the longer the demo (assuming full functionality--otherwise I won't even bother), the more likely a suckerslut like me will put it all over 10 mixes and be forced to buy it! WISE UP developers!!!!!!! ![]() |

| Yep, I can definitely recommend 112db's products, they're really good with simple copy protection and the devs are some of the coolest! |

| I think I will try this Redline Pre Amp 60 days sounds good, let you guys know how it goes. Kingcounty If you haven't tried the Decapitator you really should in my opinion it's the best Mojo plug in on the market. Does anyone know if the juice is to be released before Xmas. |

| Hey all, uber late to the party.. I just wanted to add one more vote for vertical on the design, with the longer fader throw, but I like the font for "juice" on the left. I think it's cool to skew the gui on this one to set it apart from the decapitator, since they will be different beasts. Once again, ST proves why they are one of my favs.

| never tried digital preamp emulators before. so now i'm demo-ing the wave arts tube saturator, and I can't wait to try the JUICE! 112db preamp had too many whistles; especially for trying to recreate a transformer preamp. and you gotta admit, soundtoys is one of the FEW companies where you can pick one of their plugs and not have to worry "is this gonna work with my signal?' |

![]() German Tube = Telefunken V series (72/76) British discrete = Neve 1073/1084 British Solid State = SSL 4000 American OpAmp = Api 312 Thatīs my guess anyway! and +1 on HP-filters. That would be extremely useful.

| On an individual channel I would likely opt for a high-end filter of choice. The ST guys could always persuade me though, if they offered built in filters which were unique in design or quality ;) In contrast, the filters on Decapitator are important due to the blend function which doesn't seem as applicable for Juice because of it's more subtle design purpose. -SD

Somewhere, their math skills just left them. If I sell 10000 units and make 4,000,000 dollars--the fact that 30000 units were downloaded illegally doesn't change the fact I have 4 millions dollars . In software..you have lost zero dollars. But nobody said these guys are logical.
