You got me.

I saw "Triton" and thought they might have put the Korg Triton into a plugin.

fail also here (10.5.8), but it's installed and works ... maybe it's just a clean-up thing afterwards concerning pluggo .... I wrote them about this.

I'm also waiting for Hydratone, HT is a really usefull plug-in.

Ah, could be. Seems to load OK in L9 on OS 10.6.2.

For me, (on 10.6.2 with Logic 9.02)

Installation failed on ValveTone, but the component made it to my plugins folder, and it passes my AU validation and works fine in Logic.

With ClassicTone-PEV installation was successful, but it crashes AU validation and shows up in the [incompatible] folder in Logic. And unlike some other plugs which fail AU but still work, ClassicTone-PEV crashes my Logic session.

Is this what you other 10.6'ers got?

Classic Tone PEV crashes the au val on 10.5.8 Logic 8.

Works under 'incompatible' mode though.

Sounds nice also.

i just don't get it:
why do so many companies release stuff that crashes, doesn't work, is super buggy etc...don't they test this on their computers...??!
if i'd be them i'd test my new product dozens of times on several machines with different OS's....

In my world, the Valvetone '62 was the first thing to merit the words "classic plug-in."

I remember raving about it to all my friends and jumping up and down about how much it sounded like hardware. You can really feel the different ways it treats a signal depending on how much gain is applied. I love it.

I'm excited they got out from under the Pluggo blanket. I'm sure they put a lot of work into it!

While I'm excited these plugs are back on their way into usage on SL, why launch a new website with a new plugin and no screen-shot? I went to check out details on the new EQ plug last night and they've got no pages for individual products, no description/details on the new EQ...nothing.

updated installer is available. everything works good. Classic Tone - PEV sounds fantastic. this incredible creamy EQ could be the killer for anything on the market. so tritone, make this EQ with more controls and I sell everything I have

I'm on SL 10.6.1- I had no problems downloading, installing- it all works great here using AU and DP 7.02 (another great app)- It sounds just as good as the original Valvetone and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I think they're jumping on the cybermonday bandwagon a little late and unprepared.

I got two messages entitled "TriTone Digital 2.0: We're Back!" The second one had quite a bit of gibberish. Anyway, I thought they'd have the whole line updated. I suppose I'd be excited if I had ValveTone... but I don't, so I'm not.

Wake me up when the AngelTone upgrade is ready.

wow- I'm seriously digging the new Classic-Tone PEV plug- I just put it up on a few mixes and it's really nice- it just brought in some nice air on the highs and the overall sound is great. Plus, it's FREE if you already had Valvetone. What a great company!! Now for ColorTone Pro and HydraTone!!!
