| Interesting New Microphone Designs i was scrolling though this chinese manufacturers sight and i found these cools new designs: the first pic is a tube ribbon, second is a stereo ribbon, third is a ribbon, the fourth is a tube/ribbon. just thought i'd post since they seem like interesting designs.

| I said a bit because im not sure the electrical design is related or if its a modular capsule system ![]() The global pre is awesome btw, I wish I had one.

| Yes, I met Jenny Liu of ShuaiYin whom I had only emailed with before my trip. She was showing a new large diaphragm mic.

| Which model are you refering to George? I think the bluebird and baby bottle are manufactured in china. (aswell as their entire consumer line of usb mics and podcast stuff) Thats why the price of the baby bottle has droped from 900$ few years ago down to about 300$. As far as I know its the same electronics ,they just ported the manufacturing line of these models from latvia to china in order to lower prices.
