I had originally appoligized, but you're just copying someone elses work and selling it cheaper, so I'm editing my post.

You're soldering sucks.

So you are cloning someone elses original and still being produced design??

That isn't part of a neve product, the pcb design and layout was created by JLM audio...

Don't think it is a good business move copying AND SELLING another companies design. Particularly when you have balatently admitted to it.

Do you need to repair one or are you doing a knockoff?

If its a repair, just email joe, go to www.jlmaudio.com.

If you're building your own, your on your own.

Why would you want to sell someone else's design? Joe is the most patient and helpful guy in the world of "DIY". He doesn't deserve someone making crappy half-assed copies of his work.

Who would send this clown 85 Euro anyway?

I also like the way he shows up on a recording forum to post a link to a website with text that says 'bla bla bla bla bla bla bla'.

But I think the API Preamp is my favorite. Dude, think I can get a deal on that POS?

Wow! You actually sell your copy of the JLM for less than the JLM? I can't believe it! I'm sure it's the SAME THING!

geez... thats just sad.

I've got a cool company motto

"EW - Makes Behringer look like a walk in the park."

I've seen some half-brained money making ideas before... but this takes the cake. Not only is it morally and legally wrong, but by the looks of things you'd be lucky not to get electrocuted!!

Hi malkjos,

I hope you're aware that the diy-projects are throughly non-commercial and cannot be sold in any way..

Our disclaimer (on the gyraf DIY-pages) clearly states:

"..The projects described on these pages are not commercial in any way. This means that we DO NOT sell PCB's, kits, or anything like that. It also means that any for-profit use of the information on these pages is strictly prohibited. I.e., you can NOT sell PCB's, kits (neither partial, nor complete) or finished units of the DIY projects on this site.."

The problem, Malkjos, is that you're not bringing anything to the party.

If you're starting a business, the answer isn't to make excuses for why you don't have a decent website or clean looking boards, the answer is to have a decent website in spite of the difficulties involved.

One one hand you have office workers who think 'I'll dress a little better when they pay me a little more.' and on the other hand you have office workers who think 'I'll dress a little better NOW so they'll pay me more.' Who do you think is gonna be running the place?

Just because you live in the former Yugoslavia doesn't mean you have to make the 'Yugo of Mic Preamps'.

would u be able to help me rack up some Telefunken modules I scored real cheap from a post-production house in Sgart - I will need them powered for Australian standards ... maybe some phantom power and phase & pad switches.
