Great!

But it looks so wide ??

Sure this can be fitted in a normal 19 inch rack ?

Yes. It is 2U rack mountable. Few are already using it on their rack.

Sure that looks like a 19" rack, but how do we know it's not really 25"? Can you take another picture with a tape measure up against it?

Seriously, nice solution. Wish I'd known about this before getting the cables for mine. Would have made my cable situation a bit less, um, full.

I got my patchbay instantly, from these Mamba guys. It's real professional looking. I also ordered some 3' Hosa DB25's from them, and those came right away.
Unfortunately, my ULN_8 hasn't come yet. I sure am ready for that box! I guess that is what happens when you order on the last day of a good deal.

Will report back when I can.

I'm going to get a 1U patchbay and solder some combo connectors so that the TRS goes to line in, and XLR to Mic in. That'll save a lot of connectors. I'll get two 1 meter DSUB cables that I'll cut, strip and solder to each connector on the combo jack, and then still have rack space for 8 stacked TRS connectors + in best case some AES if I don't stick with those on a snake. That'll be wicked convenient while still saving a lot of space.

I just wanted to report that I got a great product from these guys and it shipped right away. They also gave very quick and accurate email responses when I couldn't figure it out right away. This ULN-8 is now ready to rock in my studio.

Buy with confidence here folks!

We just installed a Mamba XLR-DB25 2spc Patchbay in one of my partners writing rooms. I have to say these are very well made for the money. Very satisfied with the purchase and install.
