Redline Reverb

I've given 112 plugs a spin for a couple of days now and I'm equally pleased with the results as everyone else!

But above all I love your approach as a company with great pricing/copy protection/60 day demo/personality and more.
As a poor student I hope to gather enough money before the trials ends though.
But when I do, I know that the money is in a safe place and that I will be happy with the quality of your product!

I would love to be able to do this. Tried very briefly but RR would crash on the node machine after a few seconds. Has it ever been tested this way? Hard to find information about what 3rd party plugs with work with Logic node, but I'm trying to put together a "minimum compromise" laptop based mixing solution using UAD-2 cards and a mac mini as a node machine. I think we are getting to the point with the technology where a lot of people are trying to take this path so I would encourage plugin developers to look more closely at this issue.

To be honest we didn't really test Redline on a Logic node but I'll make a point of trying (and troubleshooting any issues) soon. Thanks for letting me know!

I've been demoing this reverb and at first I wasn't that into it mainly because I was comparing it in solo mode on a single instrument. It doesn't have the clarity of VSS3 or UAD 250. But then UAD 250 wasn't really cutting it for backing vocals on a heavy rock tune and when I put Redline Reverb in with a similar setting it really brought those vocals to life in this particular tune.

I guess what I'm saying is it's easy to dismiss a reverb if you don't listen to it in context. Also, I've noticed that when it comes to delays and reverbs, sometimes the ones that don't sound as "wonderful" in solo or isolation actually end up being the perfect thing in the mix.

I think this is a useful reverb. It has a certain presence that I don't hear in most of the other software reverbs I've tried (which is pretty much everything out there). I also like the small room sounds on it, though I haven't really tested them on a tune yet. I'm definitely going to buy it.

Anyone else having an issue with Redline and Logic? If I open a project that has instances of the reverb on an Aux channel, and then open the plug-in, the mix control is at 50% rather than the 100% I set it to previously.

This is on Logic 9/OSX 10.5.8

Yes. I have the same problem. I'm on Logic 8.02 and OS 10.5.4. Interestingly, I have one instance where I set the mix to about 40 percent and it remembered that. I guess somehow it's translating 100% to 50% when it reloads. Thanks for bringing this up. At least I can mix with it if I manually set the mix level. I wonder if any other values are changing or not being stored correctly. I'll check this out when I have time.

Hey you guys at 112, you might want to check this out. Also, I'll check this on Samplitude and Sonar. This reverb is great.
