What will the MSRP on those be?

Must say, those modules have some cool features, looking at those certainly tempts me to join the 500 series crew....

List is $1375. (EQ) and $1155. (comp)

Street price will probably be around $1250 and $1050.

I asked Wade about that and he said they decided to stop make it since most 500 series frames are made so poorly and they didn't want someone else's poor design/build quality to affect how people view their products which are all top notch IMHO.

...So now they are building new 500 products for the same thing that is making their product look bad...

The GERM was already designed so we had to live with what was there.

Since these are new units I got to take any rack/supply issues into account from the beginning. So they were plugged into the noisiest, crappiest 500 PSU I could find during the whole design.
Simple as that.

Hey Wade,
is the compressor stereo linkable? There is a program dependent release setting?

Link is the one part I dont have sorted out. They do link but I have not looked at fitting it in there. What are others doing?

No Auto settings but in Zener mode at med and high ratios it starts to act that way. The new Zener curve is pretty cool :-)

I dont want to change the sound of them though and any little change in them affects the sound.....Probably just stay with the rack mount on that one....
But I do have a Little Devil pre that I will do if people like these units. Have some good ideas for that...

I love my damned Germ 500 pres but then I'm using Chandler psu on two of my 500 racks. Sad to hear they're going the way of the Dodo...

I can't wait to hear the new offerings though. That 4th 500 rack could be looming...

Hey Wade,

What's up with the top 3rd of each of the midrange freq selections not being marked? Seems like similar ambiguity on the top and bottom of the range on the side chain on the comp. Secret sauce? Abducted by aliens?

I just hate how it looks without it. The consistency of the controls makes me feel safe
