| OK - there is no hardware Waves L3 coming out soon.... Waves were 'amused' at the speculation Peter Gabriel has bought SSL Lots of DAW controllers Lots of amazing looking desks for TV & broadcast - but it seems most of these companies either aren't interested in making tools for music makers or dont feel music makers have the money to buy anything they make..  Focal speakers had a great demo area - they sounded good too! Pearl mic's use rectangular mic capsules M Audio are coming out with a wacky - walkman sized 2 channel recorder - 96k, ballanced line in or mic + phantom power extension, spdif out - records Mp3 & WAV - records to compact flash card or micro drive. (I took a picture of the beta version & will post it soon) First look at the Manley TNT - a valve mic pre + a solid state mic pre in a 1U rack First look at the Manley Mini Massive - 2 band "air" boost & sub boost mix bus "fairy dust" unit in a 1U rack (reported to have refined HF 'air boost' capabilities) The model on display was not a operational version...8 weeks?? Surround panner - for Icon D-Control More hope that Dave Derr will get round to designing some plug ins.. Paul Wolf from Tonelux chatted to people in the exhibition hall via Icam
