Very interesting but there seems to be a lot of work to be done. But it looks great and it's free • You must first create a new session, then you can save without crashing. • The Audio Engine is currently playing back audio, although communication with firewire devices is not yet possible. • Please import only 24bit, mono, PCM .wav files into your test projects. Other formats are not yet supported • VST/AU plugins are not currently supported

I love that they tell you what you have to do to "NOT CRASH"... wish they would have done that when i was trying to use their stuff back in the day. ![]()

The raise fall and return of Koblo :The beginning and the end: I founded Koblo with my brother Emil in 1998 short after we were picked up by Digidesign in US and Moridaira in Japan. Got a lot of investment's. Employees. Toured the world with Christopher Bock from Digi Meet a lot of great crazy top artists and producers . Finally when the .com bubble bursted in 2001 Koblo went down with it. This was a truly intensive experience ;-) :The return: Last summer it appears to me. If all people got equal access to great tools allowing them to collaborate on music projects without any constrains from economics and national boarders. And this was supported by a dedicated social network focused on the creative process this could change the music world like the first software synthesizers did. In March this year I got the Koblo brand back. now 4 month later thanks to a lot off support and Emils great insight and skills Koblo is back. We are still working 24-7 on a Free open source DAW. For all the old Koblo fans there is a new softsynth called "Centaurus" and there is more on it's way. As you can understand I'm excited to be back, thanks to all the support I got from users and people around me. Max Gronlund
