Matrix now shipping First units left the factory at the end of last week. The whole team is still buzzing to see our new babies leave us and head out into the big wide world.

| Congrats Jim, to you and the rest of the staff @ SSL! Did you draw lots to see who got to hold it for the pic, Hah hah. Man I am so bummed I didn't get to look at it closer at Potluck Con, your US SSL reps scared me as they were all wearing suits and just looked so stand offish and I don't roll with those kind of folks... I felt too scared to go over and have a look!!!! Congrats again! Matt

No lots needed. Chris Jenkins gets the centre position as he's the designer (following his recent hits including C200, C300, AWS900, Duality). Damien Egan (product Specialist) and I get to hold the Matrix simply because we picked it up first!

Jim, is it true (from insider's sources) that SSL's R&D continues to develop Matrix concept in direction of adding expansion boards in the future? ![]()

I've no idea who you think is an "insider source" but there is nothing like this happening now. We are about to go into our post-launch review for Matrix and there are no plans to extend the roadmap right now.
